Over 100,000 American children are sexually exploited annually. It's not just a number—it's a cry for help.

In the tranquility of Hawaii, where the splendor of nature meets the vast Pacific, there’s a harsh reality that hides in plain sight: the affliction of innocent young lives being trafficked. Within this darkness, there is a source of light – Ho‘ōla Nā Pua. (link website)

Ho‘ōla Nā Pua (HNP) serves as a guiding star for those like Keala*, a brave young spirit trapped in the shadows of exploitation. HNP provides a sanctuary where generosity transforms despair into hope, offering care, and fostering healing and resilience.

At HNP, our steadfast dedication has paved the way for individuals like Keala to transition from shadows to the supportive embrace of Pearl Haven. (link website)It is the power of community involvement and awareness that propels this transformative journey, breaking the grip of exploitation and leading survivors to a bright future. Your engagement goes beyond creating a refuge; it strengthens the very fabric of our society with educational outreach and preventive measures…all helping to decreasing societal shame and stigma around the issue of sex trafficking. Together, we stand vigilant, nurturing a culture of care and safety for our young.

Today, Keala begins a journey of self-healing and exploration, embracing her identity and radiating joy and hope to the world. Like many others, she finds solace in the support that allows her to rewrite her narrative, reveling in her newfound freedom and joy it brings. Your support serves as a guiding light, leading children who have often been silenced to place of renewal.

Let’s stand together to shine the light, shatter the silence of stigma and shame, and empower the voices of our youth, reflecting the harmony and beauty of Hawaii.

Note: *The name “Keala” is used to safeguard the identity of the individuals we serve.

“Your support can change lives and help us continue our mission to safeguard the futures of our youth.”
